Baby Bear and YooHoo

First we have YooHoo . . he is an Australian Silky Terrier. We rescued him in January 2003 from "Pets in Distress" in Davie, Florida. The best guess by the vets at that time was that he was about 18 months old . . . so that would make him nearly 9 years old now. He is a very smart dog and very protective of "his" property and adopted owners! There is never any doubt about who is in charge. YooHoo is very vocal . . . . he has many different voice inflections when he is trying to "talk" to you. He seems very capable in getting his message across . . . he knows what he wants, when he wants it, and you will know it also!

We had this Portrait done of YooHoo in 2004 - it is a pastel done by an artist we met at the Shades of Green at Walt Disney World

The newest member of our household is Baby Bear. She joined us in July of 2007 is a 6 year old Yorkshire Terrier, AKC registered as "Hegerty's Little Big Bear" - We call her Baby Bear because she is such a sweetie. She was a gift from one of my sons who breeds Yorkies. She is a very sweet and loving dog. She is not vocal unless really excited.
